Thanks, M. I have been tossing about the idea of holding a Christmas SnB in the new digs. There is lots of room (my dining room table with the leaves in can accommodate our entire group!). What do you think?

You know, I knew you’d love the family room. I am surprised that I like it as much as I do. I actually thought of you when I first saw it and thought “M would love this room!”

Wow, what a fabulous place Bonnie, congrats!!! Reminds me of my little house in Martensville, same layout….

I think you will be very very happy there… can’t wait till we can come and see you!

    Hugs

I sure hope that a visit is in our future, Chris. I miss you in my world quite a lot. Loretta’s little house on the corner is still for sale as well. I cannot believe our luck at being awarded the privilege of owning this beauty. It is more house than we dreamed in a million dreams. There is certainly lots of room for you to come and stay. Besides it would be a great time to take up our plans to rock the publishing world.

Love the new place from the pictures but I am sure that it is better in real life. What made you decide to upgrade – were you just renting before??? If I get up to S’toon I will definitely contact you so we can catch up on things. Congrats.

Thanks a bunch Bev! It really is much more fantastic in “real life.” We finally, after four years in Saskatoon, decided to buy a house. We have been renting at an excellent rate (1/2 of the amount of the norm for rental rates in Saskatoon) from a wonderful landlord who is interested more in keeping his tennants happy than making a bunch of money. So we weren’t in a real rush to buy. We know the city well enough to know where we wanted to live and what we wanted to live in so began the hunt for a house. We made short work of it and received pre-qualification for a mortgage, met a Realtor, saw some houses and bought a house. We don’t kid around when we figure what we want to do – did it all in a week.

I hope you can come up and see it soon.
